Clara Davis and Robert Beck are two songwriters deeply rooted in the American traditions. The music draws inspiration from the likes of John Prine, Gillian Welch, and Woody Guthrie as well as blues and country classics who’s authors are lost to time. Based out of Ithaca NY, their songs are meaningful as they are simple and there takes on old traditional classics sound new because of the dedication to the old.
